David Thomas

Fabyan, CT - David M. Thomas, 78, passed away suddenly on Thursday March 12, 2026.

David was born in Webster, MA on December 26, 1947, son of the late George and Margaret (Mitchell) Thomas.

David co-owned and operated the former George Thomas & Sons Textile Mill in Thompson, CT; over the years, he pursued many business endeavors, he was truly an entrepreneur. David served honorably in the United States Armed Forces during the Vietnam War; he will be fondly remembered for his kindness, his love for animals, and his artistic talent.

David is survived by his sister Barbara Thomas of Cambridge, MA; he was predeceased by his brother Paul Thomas and his sister Patricia (Thomas) Gibbons.

Visitation will be on Thursday March 19, 2026 from 10:00 – 11:00 am, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am in the Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 35 Lake Parkway Webster, MA. Committal Services will follow in Mount Zion Cemetery – Webster, MA.
