Edward Robert Kopacz Jr.

Edward Robert Kopacz Jr., 65, passed away on July 19, 2026. Edward was born on January 30, 1961, in Lowell, Massachusetts, to Edward Kopacz and Joan Kopacz.

Edward was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Heather Kopacz; his parents, Edward Kopacz and Joan Kopacz; his daughter, Amber DeMorais; his son, George Lavallie; his sisters, Cheryl Pike and Julie Butala.

He is survived by his children, Shannon Parker and her husband, Taver Parker; Christine Tayag and her husband, Richard Tayag; Eddie Manning and his wife, Nichole Manning; Destiny Buckner and her partner, George Hill; Wendy Kuehn; and Amy Lavallie and her husband, Josh Lavallie.He is also survived by his many grandchildren, cousins, friends, and his sisters, Mary Leach, Debbie Kopacz, and Donna Bastarache.

Edward had a deep love for fishing and was happiest with a rod in his hand and time spent on the water. He spent countless hours fishing with his brother-in-law and dear friend, Josh Leach, who stood by his side for many years. Their time together created memories that will never be forgotten. Those who knew Edward find comfort in imagining him casting a line once again, waiting for Josh to join him someday. Edward will be remembered for his love of family, his appreciation for the simple joys in life, and the memories he leaves behind. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

A celebration of life will be scheduled and announced at a later date.
