1. Southbridge - Rebecca Carrasquillo Rosa, 83, passed away at home while surrounded by her loving husband and family on Tuesday February 3, 2026.

Rebecca was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico on January 4, 1943 daughter to the late Juan Carasquillo and Virginia Rosa.

Rebecca lived in Puerto Rico with her family for most of her life. After years of dedicated service as a housekeeper, Rebecca chose to devote her life to her family as a full-time homemaker, devoted wife, loving mother, and a doting grandmother. She was well-known for gathering all the neighborhood children for Bible study in her home leaving behind a legacy of precious memories for those back home. Rebecca moved to Massachusetts in 2004.

Rebecca will be remembered fondly for love and care she gave to all who were blessed to know her.

She is survived by her loving husband Ramon Rivera; her sons: Saul Rivera and Jaime Rivera, and his wife Eva Rodrigues; her daughters: Evelyn Diaz, and her husband Jose and Esmeralda Rivera and her husband Elias; her granddaughter whom she adopted and cared for as her own daughter Brenda Gonzalez and her husband Luis; She is also survived by her twenty-two grandchildren: Ilian, Kristly, and Kiara Rivera; Rafael, Jonathan, and Rebeca Llanos; Danepsy Rivera, Alexandra Rivera, and Alexander Rivera; Shayda Negron, Ramon Negron, and Javier Rivera; she also leaves many nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends. Rebecca was preceded in death by her son Ramon Luis Rivera.

All are welcome to attend Calling Hours on Thursday February 5, 2026 from 5:00 - 8:00 pm in the Gianaris-Gliniecki & Beauregard Funeral Home, 366 School Street Webster, MA 01570.

Rebecca's Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home on Friday February 6, 2026 at 11:00 am, Committal Services will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery - Worcester.
